| Intensive Mentorship
In 2002, the Intensive Mentorship Program, also known as IMP, was added to the already successful Compeer for Kids program. The IMP integrates our present volunteer mentorship model with Resiliency Theory, expanding our services to include one-to-one skillbuilding. IMP mentors are highly trained and skilled to meet the needs of children and youth with varying degrees of mental health issues.
IMP, which is funded in part by the Erie County Department of Mental Health, makes mentoring a core service in the treatment planning process for youth with potential. For more information about this program, e-mail Jesse at jesse@compeerbuffalo.org or apply today by clicking here (in the space provided state you are interested in becoming an intensive mentor).
