One in every four people have a mental health diagnosis. A friend, a neighbor, a family member, a classmate, a colleague or even yourself – your super help today can change the life of someone you know tomorrow. Every dollar raised will support the work of Compeer Buffalo and Mental Health Advocates of WNY, and their superhero volunteers who are changing the lives of kids every day.
Compeer Buffalo matches individuals living with a mental health diagnosis with a trained, compassionate volunteer in a one-on-one friendship. This evidence-based layer of support reduces isolation, increases feelings of self-worth, and empowers individuals to take positive actions that improve their mental well-being. We believe that the healing power of just one friend is life changing. Click here to learn more about Compeer.
