Buffalo Urban League “Taste of Soul” Cooking Competition and Family Festival Saturday, February 27 Starts at noon. This event brings the community together to share and celebrate our cultural heritage through food, learn about healthy eating and enjoy local entertainment. Local chefs’ are given an opportunity to share their culinary gifts and win prizes. The general public is invited to taste the dishes and enjoy free entertainment and workshops. Individuals, organizations, churches and businesses are invited to enter a “soul” themed dish in either the “Healthy Soul Food” or “Entrée” or “Dessert” category. Prizes will be awarded in each chef category: Junior Chef (up to age 21), Great Cook and Professional Chef.
